A quick walk round St Katherine’s Dock before catching the Underground to The Canal Museum near Kings Cross station. A few drinks followed at The Driver pub, Wharfdale Road. Again we made our way to Brick Lane for what has become the norm!

2006 – Museum of London
We met again at The Dickens Inn, St Katherine’s Dock. The Museum of London near Barbican has many artefacts showing how London evolved from the Roman times.

2005 – Bank of England Museum
The Bank of England Museum. Again the photos are limited to our restaurant visit in Brick Lane.

2004 – House of Commons
Here we are again… There is a shortage of photos this year as you cannot take photos in most areas of the House of Commons. A fantastic visit including both the House of Commons and its green seats, and the House of Lords with its read seats. No-one can resist a sneaky sit in the Prime Ministers seat! The day was finished off with another visit to Brick Lane.

2003 – London Transport Museum
This year after meeting at The Dickens Inn we visit the London Transport Museum. After we take in the sights and sounds of Covent Garden before moving on to another Indian restaurant in Brick Lane.

2002 – Greenwich
Meet at The Dickens Inn as usual then on to visit the Cutty Sark and Greenwich. A walk up the hill to the observatory and views across London. A drink at the Plume of Feathers in Greenwich before taking a walk through the Greenwich foot tunnel under the river Thames. Finally we visit a restaurant just off Brick Lane for a fabulous curry!

2001 – Cabinet War Rooms
We all met at The Dickens Inn, St Katherine’s Dock. After a few drinks, it’s off to visit the Cabinet War Rooms in Horse Guards Road. The evening is finished off with a meal at a restaurant in China Town.
